After a year long player strike - apparently most players figured if the Khemri can win a
championship then the game aint worth playing - Blood Bowl has once again returned to the yearning
masses of the Old World. The featured Big Match of the week was between everyones favorite
deadites, Dem Bones and the green collar team of Da' Woikin' Boyz. Heavy Cabalvison coverages
perhaps kept the the fans down as the box office reported a gate of 49 thousand strong.
Both teams were a little rusty out of the gates as the Orcs took the kickoff and rather than move
the ball forward, made a long reverse to the left. The sweep bogged down as the the Orc cage ran
headlong into the strength of the deadite team with both Count Scapula and Star Skeleton Wishbone
covering the wide zone. The ball was knocked down and eventually Scapula emerged from the pile to
score as the half drew to a close.
Dem Bones took the ball in the second half and matched it right down the field. Wight Clavicle of
Barbaria stopped short of the goal and started his patented end-zone celebration, unfortunately
this allowed the orc linemen enough time to catchup and tackle him. The rest of the half was a
scramble as the Orcs retrieved the ball in the end zone and were running the length of the field to
put up a tying score. Unbelievably, with time running out, the Orc Blitzer was CAUGHT FROM BEHIND
by a sprinting mummy. Some in attendance swear they saw some sort of Grasping Tentacles,
but video evidence was inconclusive, and the game was over. Fans of both team were generally
disappointed in the low casualty counts by each team.

Commentary from da Coach: Couldn't crack open Orc armor, tho I tried and tried. I got a
little cute with the ball in the second and it cost me a TD and almost the game My cards were
Big Match! and Grasping Tentacles, he had Press Gang (which temporarily
removed a zombie) Injury Time, and Magic Helmet.
