What happens when the most casualty-prone team meets up with the most casualty-causing? You guessed
it: casualties!

But so much more! Madness gripped the pitch from the opening turn as a stray dog put the ball
firmly in Dem Bones' flanges with a mighty Woof Woof!. Ball in boney hand, the
Undead team ground out the first half clock only to be stymied in the closing turn by a freak
raincloud that opened up a Deluge of Despair, putting the end zone just out of reach.
Controlling the ball more firmly in the second half -- and I use that term loosly -- Dem
Bones' seemed to have the game well in hand. But their team leader and vampire was off his
game: taking two turns to merely pick up the ball and blowing the easiest dodge possible. It was
as if unseen forces were at work to lift the Bretonnians to victory, with Dreaux Bries essentially
performing an inspired play to seal the game.
Coach Lafayette was jovial but cautious in post-game interviews:

"It's amazing. We play our first two games against Elf teams, but it took the Undead to show us a
missed dodge by an agility player. I'd like to say stalwart players and brilliant coaching won the
game for us, but instead, Divine Intervention was the MVP out there."

Actually, L'Idiot Un was awarded the MVP. News regarding his name being changed to "Divine
Intervention" is pending.

Tell Me If You See A Pattern Game 1: 1-point victory, 1 death Game 2: 1-point victory, 1 death Game 3: 1-point victory, 1 death Anyone have Predictions for Game 4?

And Now, It's Official After pulling off several dodges and flawless ball handling through all three games, Dreaux Bries gets +1 Agility. (don't tell the dice)

Bretonnian Player Negotiates Death Into Contract Extension Coach Lafayette couldn't keep up his acts of goodwill toward the peasantry forever. His decision to let L'Idiot Trois expire on the pitch obviously pained him (Layfayette, I mean, although L'Idiot Trois probably felt something, too), but it was the right call, as he saved star Realm Knight Regice Bouche from two weeks in the infirmary. Although letting any human die so that a noble might remain uninjured is unconscionable, the silver lining is that L'Idiot Trois was instantaneously revived by the Undead team -- but at a 10k pay cut as a zombie. I guess you can take it with you -- even if it is only 75% of your starting salary.
