Ironhides shut down the Stalwart Stealers with a surprise interception.

The first half of this game was pretty standard fare, with the Ironhides kicking off to the
Stealers. The elves managed to score fairly quickly, followed by a typical plodding return tie up
at the end of the first half. Things got crazy during the second half as the dwarves received and
immediately formed a box cage. The Stealers formed a sturdy wall without closing forcing the
Ironhides to try to slip around. The elves tried to attack the Ironhides formation from the rear of
their box, and after two tries managed to knock the runner down. With the use of an Inspired Play
card, the Stealers recovered the ball, ran through the bulk of the dwarven defenders and would have
made a complete long pass. Except! Except that #4 Algaardsen, a typical longbeard with 2 agility,
managed the miracle interception (a 6 when I needed it!!!). With the elves down to zero rerolls the
Ironhides managed to run the clock. #7 Vix Stormbrow (younger brother of Nix) displayed his new
found vocal talents at the start of the game (Number One with a Bullet card) which sent the
merchandizing for the team out the roof. 110,000 in winnings. With the rest of the teams treasury
already bursting at the seams (120,000 in savings)the pinch penny coach finally made some purchases
for the team. The Storming Ironhides now have both an Apothecary and an Alchemist.
