Knights Avenge Losses, Secure OT Victory

 (Wasteland Gazette - CPI):
Almost 100,000 fans were compelled by their Dark Masters to attend the first round
Dungeonbowl match-up between two of the crunchiest teams in the league, the Orkstrom
Avengers and the Neon Knights . Word out of the Chaos lockerroom indicated that they had
secured the services of mercenary sorceror Magnus Drek for the game. This would prove
pivotal in the second half.

The Greenskins won the toss and took the kick-off. A minor disturbance erupted in the Orc
dugout as one of their substitutes was arrested just as the game got underway. It's
unknown at this time what he was charged with. The field basically distintegrated into an
unorganized scrum. Each side getting some good licks in, with the Mighty Mu'U being badly
hurt and Varag getting injured whilst crowd surfing. The half ended with both coaches
throwing the kitchen sink at each other, Magnus Mind Blowing the orc thrower, the orcs
countering by Lightning bolting star Beastman Ny'etttt, and finally the TD saving ploy of the
forces of Chaos allegedly hiring an Assassin to take down the only Orc in scoring position.

The second half was more of the same, though this time the Orcs managed to KO an
alarming number of Knights. The solid orc line eventually overwhelmed the chaos
marauders, and was able to take down the beastman who broke into the open field. There
was a huge scramble for the ball as it changing hands several times. Eventually the orcs
capitalized and had a Blitzer all alone and looked to be racing unopposed into the EZ for the
win. That's when Magnus, returning late the 7th Turn Stretch, barely had enough time to stop
the blitzer cold with a trusty Lightning Bolt. Said Magnus "sorry the line at the Notdog booth
was long and slow moving, my bad". In any event, the game was plunged into sudden death
OT.

Much to everyone's surprise, the Knights won the toss, AND the Mighty Mu'U was patched
together and sent back onto the field. The crowd went wild! With equal numbers, the Chaos
team was able to use it's strength edge to flank the orcs and seal off the corner. Veteran
beastman running back Bleee'eet was able to capitalize on his speed and run in the
go-ahead TD.

The Knight's advance to round 2 to face the Blackspine Shadows, who also upset their first
round opponent.

Roster Moves:
   Freebooted Wizard (-75K).
As anyone who has watched tapes of this teams season has probably suspected, Lord
Buckethead is indeed Peaked at 6 points.

Injury Report:
    #15 Chaos Warrior: Broken Jaw

Commentary from da Coach: Wow what a intense game! This time I got all good cards, I
was bummed as the It Wasn't Me took out a guy on the bench, I had set up defensively for an
immeditiate turnover, it could have really changed the game! Varag going into the crowd
probably was the difference (as was the freebooted wizard!)
