Borak Shines in Neon Debut

 (Wasteland Gazette - CPI):

Lord Borak did everything but the dishes in his first game in a Knight uniform. 3 casualties
during the game plus the key interception in OT that led to the winning TD. A moderate
crowd of 67,000 was on hand in unseasonably hot weather to witness the first meeting of
those teams from beyond the World's Edge mountains. Much was riding on the game, as
the Rainbow Brights were hoping to rebound from their first loss of the season and the
Knights wanted to get themselves back in the hunt for the conference crown.

Apparently chaos had the better sacrifices as they won the toss and, to the surprise of no
one, elected to receive. A thrown rock slowed the Knight drive as it nailed the Mighty Mu'U
right in the Misty Mountain Oysters. Earlier in this season the Knights would have rolled over
at this point, but Lord Borak would have none of it, showing his vaunted Leadership he led
by example by immediately removing a Chaos Dwarf. Others soon followed and the Knights
rode a numbers edge to a first half score. The key play in the half was a amazingly suspect
blow to the Rainbow Brights veteran minotaur by beastman Huorkh which put the bull on the
bench for the rest of the game. The Brights couldn't score before the half ended.

The sweltering heat took it's toll leaving 3 Beastmen too knackered leave the bench for the
start of the second. The Chaos Dwarfs swept right, though it was rough going as they lost
the ball once, their numbers eventually won out as they tied the score. A Chaos Warrior
(who had scored in the first half) was killed in the melee. Shoulda learned how to block!
The Knights couldn't advance the ball and the half ended on a spectacular note as the Mighty
Mu'U ate one of his own teammates. The coach was asked about it after the game and he
replied: "It's written into his contract that he can eat up to 5 of his teammates a season, the
team knows that, it's not like there were any bad feelings or anything, heck he even shared
some of the choice bits, Really it was the Beastman's own fault for being so savory".

Again the Knights won the toss in OT, and it was touch and go as both teams had their mitts
on the ball, but the game was broken open when Lord Borak snagged a pass from a
bemused hobgoblin and raced up field. As he had out ran his protection, he decided to do it
all himself and bobbed and weaved and pushed it into the EZ for the win. Said Borak after
the game: "The rest of this team are a bunch of [losers], if I had to wait for one of them to
step up, we'd STILL be playing. I saw an opening and I took it, that's what they pay me for".

Roster Moves:
  Hired Chaos Warrior #15

Injury Report:
  #6 Killed!
#10 Killed By his teammate Mu'U

Commentary from da Coach: Two decent cards, a Spy and Half-time Talk. I was rolling like
a madman in the first half, couldn't do squat in the second. Had just enough luck to win.
Had 3 casualties - all were deaths, 6 sided dice like to mock me sometimes!
