Knights Battle Valiantly, Lose Close Match.

  (Wasteland Gazette - CPI):

Yet another week has passed and the Dark Lord has finally revealed himself! The Patron
diety of this team has turned out to be Ma'al, the Chaos Lord who despises Chaos! The
Great One, as is His wont, has deemed it such that no player will be Tainted with the Mark of
Chaos. There will be no mutations for this group of Wastelanders, they'll have to go it with
only their wit and skill, and as their play this season has amply demonstrated, they possess
neither.

62,000 fans braved the malaria plagued jungles to watch the interconference match-up of
two teams headed in different directions. The Lizards won the toss and immediately started
sending a progression of Knights to the KO and Injury boxes. Fortunately, though they were
applying the hammer with great precision to Neon players, their overconfident showboating
Skinks kept fumbling the ball virtually every turn. Quite amazingly they came up empty in the
first half when their only scoring opportunity ended when a moonwalking Skink haphazardly
backed into a maintenance pit, thereby holding up the game as the custodial staff labored to
extract him.

The second half looked grim for the Goats as they could only round up a half dozen players
for the offensive drive. Amazingly enough, Beastman #11 tossed a long pass to Borak who
actually was fairly deep in Suns territory. Unfortunately, the lizard counter-attack was good
enough stop the incursion and, though their Skinks continued their fumble-fingers ways, the
Sun's were able to put together just enough offense to score.

The Knights outnumbered 2-1 were able to keep the 'zards out of the EZ for the rest of the
half to only lose by a margin of 0-1.

Roster Moves:
Hired Chaos Warrior via Special Offer.

Injury Report:
  No Lasting Injuries!!!!!

Commentary from da Coach: When your opponent has a Strength, Agility, Speed, Skill, &
Numbers advantage + a Wizard, you know you are in for a long day. Actually my guys played
pretty well for all of that. Never really had a chance, but only lost by 1, I'd say that's a good
day all and all. Still it's hard to run a Chaos team when you don't roll any double for
mutations. But, finally, I have 14 players available to play!
