Prisoners bring hope to terror haunted Mordhiem

The warden of Mordhiem prison was pleased to announce the acceptance of his team of prisoners,
by the NAF. The Hardboys' debut game against the High Elven Tohspals, culminated in a hard faught
overtime victory. In the first half, the Hardboys cleverly took the ball from there elven
opponents, and scored a seemingly easy TD. Thier blitz during the next drive, almost alowed the
Hardboys another score, but the Tohspals responded with a daring defense that saw them tieing the
game before the half time buzzer. The second half of the game degenerated into a chaotic shoving
and tripping match, and the ball spent more time bouncing around on the pitch, instead of in any
players hands. Many of the Tohspals seemingly sacrificed limb and cranium to deny the Hardboys a
second half score, sending the game into overtime. Winning the coin toss, the elves mounted a
fierce offense that brought them within scoreing range. However, due to the shortage of Tohspals'
players, and the Hardboys cutpurse tactics, the prisoners regained the ball to run in thier victory
score. After the game, the Mordhiem Prison warden issued a brief statement. "I offered 'em
reduced sentenses if dey win. Dats all the Motimvational speaches dese boys wanna hear."
As a side note, investigations have been called by the NAF, over a rash of forged documents
circulating through the concessions department. These documents have caused foul ups with certain
deliveries. Evidently thousands of stripped Mordhiem jerseys were delivered and sold throughout
every stadium this weekend, to the exclusion of almost every other bloodbowl team jersies. While
this might be amusing to those outside the NAF, insiders most affected by this scandal are calling
it an act of "stationary terrorism".
