Roadkill Sprint back into 1st Place

Roadkill win the toss and elect to receive (again). Elves play deep zone defense to little
effect as Headsplitter blasts a whole in the corner and Masr-rat-Ti streaks past for the one
turn score. High Elves field the kick and immediately new hire Lucien Swift fumbles the first
ball tossed his way. The ball ends up in heavy traffic, where the Rats couldn't immediately
pick it up, so they were content to put some tackle zones on the ball. Lucien trys his
patented leap maneuver but slips on a Banna Peel. This time the ball is open and
Masr is off to the races again. The High Elves set up again, but it was clearly not their day
as their QB immediately Fumbled a pass. Skaven recover and score again. Tohspals, after
getting the ref, manage to score before the half ends.

High Elves make the game close by scoring on a quick sweep to bring the score to 3-2.
Masr answers with his fourth TD, though this one took two turns as the pointy hats deployed
the deep picket line defense. The High Elfs started their ensuing drive with another sweep,
unfortunately they were running low on players and couldn't effectively screenthe ball carrier.
Furrari knocked the ball loose twice, on the second it bounced into the Skaven cheering
section, who promptly threw it 9 squares downfield, where it bounced off a prone dragon
warrior, thru the hands of Harmadillo and right to Masr who took the gift in for TD #5. The
High-Elves closed out the scoring at 5-3, and the game was over.

  • #7 Furrari learns Diving Tackle
  • #8 Snake learns Block
  • #9 Harmadillo learns Block
  • #12 Masr-Rat-Ti has Sure Feet
  • Injury Report: Virtual week off cures Headsplitter from his crowd induced injury. Commentary from da Coach: This week Kevin had my game of last week. Snake-eyes abounded on his side of the ball. Another 6 for me for cards, mine were Merchandising, Extra-Training, and Banana Peel, all good. FF still hasn't moved an inch this season.
