Kroxigors Left Standing (but no one else was) Loco loses in OT.

Chess match start early as both sidelines benefited from Brilliant Coaching at 
different times during the game.  The Brets won the toss but were unable to capitalize on the 
Inspired Play of their catcher who carelessly ran directly into the open arms of 
Throtl-Yu who pinned him to the sidelines with a Diving Tackle.  After some catcher pinball 
the ball finally was busted loose and recovered by Xtiki-xtiki.  It looked like he could .. go .. all 
.. the .. wa.. wait he fell into a pit trap.  Re-Kick on turn 8.  Whoa! Its a Blitz!  Unfortunately the 
ball scatters perfect fot the Knights, even the antics of a wild dog couln't get the ball back into 
play, and the half ends with a two way tie, the score was 0-0, and the injuries were tied 1-1.  

Loco got the ball to start the second, the Reps of Guilderland sacrificed their peasants and 
started their defense way back.  The sacrifice was accepted and the Lizards promptly ate two 
of the peasants.  Suddenly players were flying off the pitch in rapid succession.   The Play of 
the Day was when star Knight Jules blitzed into the Lizard cage, knocked the ball loose, and 
recovered it and was off to the races.  Fortuneately a timely (sic) Time Warp put 
Uppsiddahed in position to stop the Bret Drive at the Goal Line.  Regulation ended with the 
game in a scoreless tie with the casualty count tied at 7-7.  Brets won the OT toss, made the 
key dodge, and  were able to put the game away.   Fantastic game to end the regular 
season!

  • Injury Report: Lots! We had guys overflowing the box. Fortunately due to the bye week at seasons end, they'll all dress for the playoffs. Commentary from da Coach: Again I had a big card advantage (4-2), this time I didn't have enough turnover cards, and one Bribed Ref - ignore Illeagal Procedure, wasn't of much use - though I tried! Woof! Woof! rolled a 5 when I needed a 6, Time Warp got the game into OT, and Spy got a Knight injured rather than my DP skink blitzed. I thought I had the game in the bag but then Jules went on a Six-O-Rama to dodge into a mosh pit, avoid a diving tackle, knockdown a block/dodger (with injury of course), get the bouncing ball on a six, dodge on on a six, head down field. Ack! He did manage a Skull to send the game into OT. Lost the toss and the 3 remaining sauruses, and the game was over. Pretty good game overall up until those 5&6s started appearing. HAH! _My_ FF went up MuuWaahahahahhhhaahaaha !
