Villians Villified!

Game started with a flurry as the Ref mysteriously disappeared or was eaten. Neither side
could be fingered yet both took advantage of his absence. The Maneating Cow took the ball
and ran it upfield for an easy score. Unfortunately the disgraceful display of
Un-sportsmanlike Conduct got him sent to the bench for the remainder of the game.
On the ensuing kickoff, Loco was the recipient of the and got
a touch back. A Saurus took the gift and scored forthwith. At that point the Chaos Dwarfs
decided they'd brak what had been a clean game and commenced with applying the boot to
the sensitive portions of the Lizardman's anatomy. Fortunately for us, they didn't actually
know where these protions are located on the coldblooded Lustrians and therefore were
mostly ineffectual.

Fouling is a double-edged sword which cut the Villians worse in this game as the Loco
responded in kind and the second half was a route. There was a brief glimmer of hobgoblin
hope as the replacement ref's view was blocked so a sure touchdown was negated as the
scoring Skink was visciously sent into the crowd on an Is It A TD?. The ball
scattered back into the middle of the field in a pack of lizards and the drive was restarted. By
that time there were only 3 Villians on the pitch, soon there was but one and the game was
mercifully called.after Xtiki-Xtiki scored.

Roster Moves:
  • FF +1
  • Upsiddahed Gains a Magic Helmet
  • Saurus Qwyk-Iam gains +1 MA (grrr)
  • Skink P'syx learns Catch
  • Injury Report: None Commentary from da Coach: My first Saurus rolls a 6+4 MA increase - ACK! I'll take my two cards anyday; Magic Helmet and Unsportsmanlike Conduct. I think the Hobgoblins were wearing the Chaos Dwarf armor and vice versa. It looked bad when I followed up my Get The Ref roll with snake-eyes until James rolled a 3 and we were tied!
